The starting date for filing H-1B petitions subject to 2019 Cap is April 2nd, 2018 which is less than a month away.
Judging by the trend for the last few years and the state of the economy, it is more likely than not that the filing window will only last for the first 5 business days, i.e.,until April 6th.
As one can expect, we have started working with employers in planning and organizing for filing their H-1B petitions subject to the FY 2018 H-1B Cap. It is very important to note that starting work on these petitions early will give us sufficient time to identify any problems that may exist and resolve them to be able file the petitions on time.
